Now, the latest info I have is that I'm gonna be living in the North/North East of Walkden/Wogdin. Perhaps near Moss Lane, Sharp St or Whittle St. The close proximity to Walkden train station being the key selling point.

That is the South, you need to be near the Vulcan pub. its the future.

and the south is full of people with Drink problems, plus it is too close to Swinton.

Walkden is not too bad. Nothing to write home about but not the worst place either. Decent bus/train links but little in the way of pubs etc.

Sounds good. Not too worried about the lack of pubs as I'm not much of a drinker. I suppose my main question concerns the level of crime. I mean, I currently live in an area where I've occasionally left the doors unlocked at night and not been too concerned. Don't suppose you can get away with this sort of thing over that way???

I have just moved back to Swinton after six months in Walkden.My car insurance was £120 cheaper in Swinton.

I'm actually moving from a nouveux middle-class area to Walkden so "posh" isn't really a factor for me.
As I'm currently at a specialist sports uni I'm in amongst super-fit pretty girls most of the time so a swingers club and brothel is far from my radar. However, I think I'm intrigued as to how you know of these particular establishments? Not revealing to much about yourself here are you?

Although come to mention it; did you know that way back when, the founders of this website actively printed the lyrics of Salford songs off, handed them out as people entered the shed and encouraged people to sing together rather than be fragmented all over the show? Apparently, the exercise was so successful that a sizrable group of fans actually managed to drown out the noise of an amp at Cougar Park, Keighley during "Cougarmania."
