Last night we decided to cancel the Hotel in Toulouse we had booked via booking.com as we felt there is very little chance the game is going to be played. On canceling we had an email back from the hotel saying that we had missed cancellation by 18 hours and we had to pay in full. We never have and never will book a hotel we cannot cancel up to 24 hours before we are going to stay. I looked up the booking confirmation and it stated we could cancel within 24 hours of staying so emailed the hotel who came back to us and said it was a mistake. We did have an email from Booking.com later stating that the hotel had been canceled. If you do have a hotel booked in Toulouse make sure that they keep to the booking terms and conditions when or if you cancel it, I wonder if they the hotel is trying to pull a fast one so the did not lose the money for our booking.

Mate of mine runs a holiday letting company, usually there is a penalty for cancellations. His attitude is to refund no questions, why, coz these are his future customers.
Hotel that looked like they were trying to shaft you obviously have not thought of that.
Treat people right now, they will come back, treat em wrong, that's a lost customer for ever.

I have to agree. I cannot see the game being played.
I hope the RFL are making plans for restarting the season. Whenever that maybe.

Have to agree with you, if the game does go ahead (we have not cancelled the flights) then we will not be booking that hotel.

Well Citadines Wilson Toulouse.You are on my list of Hotels to avoid in Toulouse.
I must admit it is a short list at the moment but it may well grow.

Are hotels open for business in Toulouse?...If they are not when we are due to play that weekend and if there is no cancellation option on your booking , then I take it Booking.com or whoever would give a refund...

I guess it would be down to what option you took when you booked the hotel as it now seems most hotels using booking.com give you a cheaper daily rate if the booking is not refundable. I do not know if the hotels are forced to shut down because of the corona virus, the bookings will be cancelled without any financial liability.

It's still an interesting thing though, even with a booking that has no cancellation, if the hotel then shuts its doors its them that have renauged on the contract so must be liable to refund

BA have now canceled the flights we could either have a refund or a credit to use on another flight.

I got a voucher from Novotel Toulouse Centre Compans Caffarelli. No returns allowed just a voucher, they quoted some regulation.

WQ. If you paid by credit card, I would contact the card company.

I think I paid by debit card. Maybe we will be there later this year or next year. It has 18 months to run.
