However, this came close to being a shock result, with a fired up Bradford side perhaps unlucky not to take the scalp of Trinity.

Bradford played a fast expansive brand of RL, very similar to London of last season and despite Trinity going in at HT with a 7 - 6 lead, they led the game as we approached the last 15 minutes, with only a smart piece of play between Lyne and Tupou down the right finally allowing Trinity to scrape home.

The Bulls were a credit to their coach and fans and despite their trials and tribulations in the off season, the look a decent, well coached, outfit.

I was furious at the game, just typical for us not to take it serious knowing full well Kear will of had the side well drilled and up for it.

A win is a win but Bradford were the better side for a good 60 minutes of that game.
