Sky TV [according to reports in mainstream press are apparently favourites to land the RU 6 Nations contract.
They have put a £300 million bid in for the rights to Rugby Union six nations competition from 2022, even though it is supposedly protected by rights to view on terrestrial [non pay TV.
This does not sound very good news for Super League who are, i think negotiating a new contract with Sky for when the current one ends, is it next year ?
The current contract we have with Sky, is peanuts to what they are offering for Rugby Union's 6 Nations, which is just a 15 match competition.

The audience is far greater

Who'd have thought that a competition which is watched globally and fills massive stadia would be worth a better media deal...

Will not make any difference to me will watch the 15 mins highlights and see the only time the ball is on the pitch

Sorry but at the present time ru is a much better product. I do think however that in internationals far to much kicking.
