Why do Thursday night games always seem so dull?

Good result if it stays like this this for teams hoping to be in and around Cas at the end of the season.

I like Cas's prop Daniel Smith.
Been impressed with his strong carries last few times I've seen him.

Dobbins doing well to be up at half time .
They are struggling to contain Cas down the middle though, and it may catch up with them.
Agree with JTP though. Dull game , dull atmosphere.
Not a fan of Thursday night rugby at all.

Ha! Kendall had a good game I thought, other than not sinbinning the Rovers player for a clear shoulder charge.

Terrible game. Rovers half d in defence, Cas bombing tries left, right and centre. No atmosphere apart from abusive chanting at the ref.

Hopefully the TV game tomorrow is an improvement.

Also worth noting that in Eden, Feki, JSL, Moors, Foster, Cook, plus Watts for 65 minutes, Castleford had pretty much as many players missing as Rovers and they are of a higher calibre arguably.

I don't think that they will get the better of Saints this year but they are increasingly looking the most equipped to test them.

For the whole of the first half there was 1 attempt to place the ball on the ground and play it back with the foot. The Castleford player in attempting to do that knocked the ball forward. Comical!

Refs and players are using their own ptb rule and the new rule is dead and buried.

I don't care whether they enforce it or not so long as they are consistent but blowing up once in a while does no good whatsoever
