So we know a Super League club are getting relegated and players contracts are likely to become void making them free agents. Who would you like your club to sign, depending on who goes down? Personally I think the players below would make good SL signings.

Salford - Murdoch-Massila, Dobson, Lui, Flanagan
Hull Kr - Lunt, Mantellato, Thornley
Huddersfield - Connor, McGilvary, Cudjoe, Hinchcliffe, Huby, Ta'ai

Justin Carney - $alford.

Hull FC have already signed Jake Connor

Craig Kopczak.
One of the most under rated forwards in SL.
Couldn't believe Huddersfield let him go, stats wise he had been their top forward. Plenty of metres and few errors.
Now Salford's top performing prop.
Still a good age for a prop and played 250+ SL games.
One of the most consistent forwards in the game. Never spectacular but I've never seen him have a bad game either.

Huby looks like a shadow of the player he was a couple of years ago, perhaps down to the size he has put on.

Quite a big shadow, it might practically be an eclipse.

Its what happens when players leave Cas. They under perform at other clubs.

How about not using the money on transfers and contracts and instead train and develop the clubs players alongside the local amateur teams.

Kopczak is a good shout id forgotten about him, would expect a few clubs to be interested.

Is there still a requirement to have a certain number of club trained players in a Super League squad? I would be happy to see whatever number it is increased.

The same old clubs produce players year in year out but some clubs never will unless they're forced to.

only guarantee is Leeds won't be signing Huby

Out of all of them Akuma Ta'ai, he's an absolute monster.

Cudjoe & McGilvary are top players and there's a few others at Huddersfield too.

From HKR, Clarkson can do a job but he's a workhorse backrow who's value is in his utility and work rate. He's not a captain.
Mantellato and Sio are good.

From Salford, well I'm struggling a bit but then I've rarely seen Salford this year so I'm not judging them really. Carney is obviously a dangerous player but has he got his head screwed on right?

You can have clarkson even if we stay up if there was ever a player who should be described average at best it's him

In fairness, Clark wasn't one of the players mentioned.
Even Westerman is beginning to realise some of his early promise on a consistent basis now he is at Warrington.
Some players do go on to play as well as they did at Cas, but it does seem to be the exception rather than the rule.
