I thought he was a pretty good player for Rovers and should stand out at a lower level.

Had a good offloading game. Unfortunately, it was usually to the opposition while in his own 20.

That's a little unfair.

Con could hit hard and could read the game, but he was lazy with his talent.

He couldn't do the hard yards in either defence or attack.

Very talented but could never keep up to the sport, he was.a very frustrating player to watch.

He always fancied himself as a bit of a playmaker.
He has filled in at 5/8 from time to time, and has a decent passing game.
I could see him doing that sort of thing in a lower grade side - as well as hit big hits in defence.

You seem to agree he was lazy.

Which part do you think is unfair?

Physicaly looked the part & had some skill but to me it was his mental aproach to the game, just seemed to be miles away at times.

You never said he was lazy, you said he just wanged the ball to the opposition in his own twenty.

I said he was lazy with his talent, by which, i meant that he didn't work hard enough at his game to make the most of the talent he clearly has.

I know it wasn't me who said he was lazy. He offloaded go the opposition on a regular basis.

From what I've read he may have had some personal issues playing into his form. Hopefully he is over that now.
