| Saints have sold about 15,000 tickets for the main event, and Russell Crowe has tweeted that he is aiming to come over for the game. Any neutrals coming to this? Anyone going to all 3 games?
Anyone got any idea how ticket sales for the other 2 games are going? Hopefully there will be 3 big crowds over the weekend.

| Just asked this question on the Wire page, I hope all 3 get close to sell out and are close games too.

| Think Wire are selling well. I'd be very surprised if the crowd is less than 12k!

| These games all deserve big crowds. There's a lot of whining on the Wire board about a 'meaningless fixture', 'missed opportunity' etc. ( Though to be fair lots of comments taking issue with this view, too ). The simple fact is that SL clubs get NO opportunity ( outside the WCC one-off ) to play against NRL competition. UK RL fans get the same severely restricted opportunity to see top-class NRL teams in the flesh. We should entirely be embracing these matches and it will be a poor show if any of them gets an attendance under 12,000. I'm still (optimistically) hoping for a full house at the HJ.

Ignore those moaning on our board, they're also moaning about sponsorship, ticket prices, blaming the club for fixture changes etc then wonder why the club isn't growing as much. Would you get into a sport that everyone moans about?
Anyways, last I heard some areas are nearly sold out, which led me to buying my tickets as I had been putting it off!

| Wow ticket sales are sounding great! The saints game is going to be a brilliant game I reckon. I must say I was a little skeptical about this format but it sounds like it is going to be a great spectacle!

| I'm going to the games at Wigan & Saints, and would've gone to the Warrington game too but won't be able to make it due to work.
Really looking forward to it. Any chance to see the likes of Inglis, Luke, Marshall etc etc in this country and i'm there.

| My 2 lads and me are coming over to Saints. Got the tickets as soon as they came out as I thought there would be a stampede for them. Really thought they would have sold quicker than they have.

| It's a great concept and the apathy from some about this series is just usual RL fan nonsense.
I'm going to all three.

It's those fans holding our sport back more than they claim the RFL do.

| There does seem to be a fifth column amongst some fans, just been on a different site where Saints are getting it in the neck from other 'fans' because a few Saints fans went on about 5 days ago saying they doubt we will sell our allocation.
It's a sad state of affairs when people will post such negative comments which go completely against the actual fact that this game is selling well and there are very few tickets left.
West Stand sold out.
North and South down to single seats.
East stand sold 2500 of 3900.
When it does sell out they will moan about it not selling weeks earlier. But if it had sold out weeks ago they would have moaned that it did not sell out pre the GF. It just annoys me that people will take any oportunity to talk down not just RL but their own club.
Especially when they can barely recall the previous WCC that Saints were in when 20k+ turned up away from St Helens.
Anyway rant over.

| Actually, if I am going to the Saints game, I ought to pull my finger out and get some tickets. Where's the best place to buy them, Saints website or Superleague?

| I'm not sure?
Can you get them from the RFL???
Either way seems the figure is down to 1300 standing left in the East Stand, then there are unallocated seats, but then there is no guarantee off being seated together if there is more than one.
I was going to say there are allocated seats left but a check on the website and they are not available today. Not sure if this means there are so few they will only be sold over the phone or if they are now all gone.
Ok just checked the RFL site. If you pick the Saints game, it takes you back to the Saints site to buy.
If you go for all 3 games then you can purchase them through the RFL, but you will be placed in the East Stand. No option that I can see for seating.
Hope that helps

Does anyone have any ticket sales figures for the Wigan game? A lot of talk about saints but haven't seen much about Wigan.
Apologies if someone has answered this earlier in the thread, its midnight and I'm tired lol

You'd think they would be able to sell tickets. After all they are a selling club and would sell anything that wasn't bolted down and stamped with 'Property of Wigan FC'.

| To be fair to the Wigan fans, they have the one stadium that is in no danger of selling out given its size , so no surprise there is no mad rush for tickets early.

| As a purely piece of anecdotal evidence, I have spent the afternoon trying to book a hotel room in Wigan for the Saturday, and for the first time, I found that the place I usually stay at (the Mercure Oak) was fully booked up, as were all other suitable places in the town, and I've had to go 'out-of-town'. So that seems to indicate a fair level of interest. And as noted, there's no rush to buy tickets (haven't got mine yet, either).

| Unfortunately St. George -Illawarra has been drastically weakened by the withdrawal of boom forward Michael Cooper, who insists on being present for the birth of his child. ( That will make Michael the father of an Australian citizen. So, although Michael will likely pull on an England shirt again, he is unlikely to return home to live). I hope that the news of No Cooper will not bugger the attendance figures.
