Andrew Johns has said he is his favourite player and compared his balling skills to Daren Lockyer. You wouldn't bet against him making it 3 MoM on the trot, i don't think that has been done before either.

Yeah I read that, they seem to think he'll be the leading contender to replace ennis as captain at the end of the season when he leaves.

Always been a great player. It's just a shame we've lost Sam Burgess because I really like the looks of this England team right now and there are some more good lads breaking through.

James Graham is regarded by the best judges in the NRL (e.g. Phil Gould and Andrew Johns) as the best prop in the world.

Add George Burgess and Tom Burgess as alternating partners for James Graham, and Chris Hill as Graham's 20 minute replacement, then you can see why the England front row looks awesome.

It does, but not so long back we also had Fielden, Morley and Peacock all in their pomp and we still got out muscled.

Graham got us to a grand final in his last year. When we had two rookies at scrum half. Not saying he did it alone, but it's no coincidence the drop off when he left.

Next year it will have taken 4 years and many changes to recover from the loss of one man.

I still hold out faint hopes of a return to Saints but it's not likely I know. Never replaced, unfortunately.

none of them 3 are anywhere near as good as burgess or Graham. Their games are built on brute force and physicality (peacock has developed into so much more but at the time it was based on this) but burgess and Graham are a lot more rounded than that.

I assume you are referring to Sam Burgess in which case i would certainly agree but i was responding to his post that had the Burgess twins and Graham not Sam, as obviously he is on his way to Union now so is a non factor for England.

Chris Hill is currently the best prop this side of the world, and capable of long stints, great footwork for a prop and adding him to the pack with the guys in Oz means we have a ferocious set of forwards.

I don,t think thats gone un noticed in the NRL, a couple of clubs in OZ will be looking at him for 2016.
Then it will be down to Chris Hill how he sees a superleague going weaker in quality to the challenge of the NRL with plenty of aussie dollar.

I expect Hill,Watkins and possibly Hardaker and Joe Burgess if he continues his rise to move in the next couple of years.

I was but even after thinking about it George Burgess is on par with what those guys brought to the table.

Also i don't the the Aussie pack is all that frightening either, Matt Scott, James Tamou, Andrew fifita and Corey Parker.

Hard to argue that he's the best in the World at present, the past two weeks he's been head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, every time he passes the ball something seems to happen.

He should be the captain 100%. No matter how good a leader O'Loughlin is, he is injured more often than not.

Great Britain/England have had the best pack in international Rugby for the last 10 to 15 years, unfortunately we've had dross halfbacks who couldn't steer that pack around the field. Our forwards have had to do it tough, coming out of their own 20 over and over because we had an ineffective kicking game.

On the other hand, Australia had a very good pack which overcame their handicap because they had world class halfbacks putting them through holes, getting them on the front foot and gaining great field position from a superb kicking game.

No question he's got to be the new England captain, I love his passion when he's out on the field, just as long as he can control it.

Watching Canterbury vs. Manly in the finals, he was absolutely outstanding, certainly got to be up there with the best in the world at the moment.
