I'm thinking of going over to Australia next year for the 4 nations,
Does anybody know when they usually put out the fixtures.
Would be nice to know so I can start to look at flights, hotels etc

Probably after the Origin series is completed in July. Oh, and expect the England game against Australia to be scheduled for Melbourne during Melbourne Cup week. That'll ensure you'll be lucky to grab a 3 star city centre hotel for less than £300 a night.

Four Nations will be in October-November, not in the same period as State of Origin.

England will play Australia in Sydney or Brisbane , not Melbourne. England will play New Zealand in Auckland.

Again the administrators blow the chance of me getting there, My holidays for next year have to be in next week so I wont be going, I will be going down under in 2015 just hope ill be able to get to a couple of games.
Note to the adminstrators of our great game If Union are putting tickets for their world cup in 2015 on sale in the new year why can't we organise a four team comp two years ealry?

If you get it I really hope that you and your team put on a better event than 2006. I was there for the Tri Nations game (Eng V NZ) and it was pretty low key. The crowd was around 18k - which was a shame as it was ultimately a play-off for the final.

I know there has been more recent success with big RL games there so maybe things are improving.

I hope its in Sydney but I wouldn't be surprised if it was in Melbourne as have the last few. Either way I will be going.

When I spoke to the RFL a few weeks ago they said whilst the Aussies and Kiwis were over they would be discussing next years 4nations but nothing will be decided until after the world cup so there should be announcements soon.

Last 4nations over there was great except the logistics were annoying, NZ-OZ-NZ-OZ was not friendly for English travellers but hey ho.

Don't agree about Melbourne it was fantastic when we were there if not very wet!! As it was the cup weekend we got tickets to see Australia's greatest horse race and that was fantastic too.

We will be going again... With a different coaching set up this time I hope.
