| To Hull where anything other than an 80-point defeat will see Les Chanticleers into the final. The 20-man squad is:
Stacul, Pala, Duport, Larroyer, Soubeyras, Bosc, Barthau, Elima, Gigot, Casty, Raguin, Mounis, Bemba, Baitieri, PĂ©lissier, Griffi, Fakir, Simon, K Bentley, Cardace.
It'd be nice to turn les rosbifs over, but I don't see it

| Reckon that must qualify as improvement, for both sides.
A few years ago England would hammer France, but would need to wait until the final quarter to hammer a tired and un-conditioned side. This year England won quite decisively, showing vast improvement, but France conceding 20 points a half also shows improvement (had they fielded the same team as three years ago, it would have been a heavy cricket score). Also, in the second half France improved marginally, if you cut out one weak score by England they would have "only" lost the second half by 12 points. If they can build on that for next week that would keep me happy. Frankly if we lose next week by only 24 points I'll ecstatic, scoring a try or two would be a bonus.
France has players that can perform at this level, we need the coaching and preparation in place to match what England and the Kiwis do.

| thought the attitude & performances were more convincing under Bobbie last season - two good displays last year against England at Avignon & Scotland at the GB
Cologni is ok but not up to international standard IMO - let's hope Carlos can find a proper coach...
