But tonight I've found the refereeing in the Wigan v Leeds game utterly shambolic.

The RL REALLY needs to sort this out. As a Blackpool lad I'm far from a Leeds fan - but IF I was - I'd be incandescent with rage.

It's becoming embarrassing for the sport. What exactly are touch judges for in this wonderful sport? They seem to do nothing. There are forward passes Quarterbacks would be proud of.

It's a shame.

When even Phil Clarke was saying that Leeds aren't getting the "50-50's" (aka 0-100's, some of the time) then you can only imagine how one-sided the refereeing was.

The biggest call was the Burrow try decision. As blatant a penalty try as you'll ever see. If not for use of the knee then the high tackle.

Some poor decisions both way tonight, the last one being the non given penalty for lying on by Hall, but overal Leeds were the better team

I'd say overall it was a game of two halves - Leeds dominated 1st, Wigan 2nd. And yes, had the Hall lying on been given it would have been very different. Some poor decisions all round though, don't think anyone can claim a monopoly.

Not really, I thought some of our attack was poor. We should've been more than 11 up at HT.

So. I'm not alone in thinking Superleague reffing is, at times, shambolic. Good.

And for the "you try reffing" mob. Well seriously, I'd have a go with a couple of mates and the SKY cameras on hand. Couldn't do much worse.

You've got the best refs in sl ,so spare a thought for what the rest of us have to put up with.

Shocking!.Its a good job the players have respect cos the dugouts and the crowds definately lack it.

Edit - Having said that,what iv'e seen at leigh miners and East has been quite tame to some of the things ive seen on video from yorkshire clubs.

if they turn up! We had a league semi final last year, OK so it's U16s Midlands, but five players in that game are now at pro teams....the ref just didn't turn up. 10 mins after KO time was due and no sign of the ref, one club chairman had to borrow kit and step in to ref. At a semi final.
