Have to say that it looked pretty bad on the replay. Would like to see it inh slo mo to see how bad it was. On first impressions not as bad as Hock's so at least 2 games.

It looked bad - I've only seen it once, but it looked like he was having a proper go - and if that's the case then he should get a proper ban for it. I don't know what was up with him tonight but he seemed to spend half his time looking for trouble.

He'll be a loss, especially with Watkins out, but it'd be an embarrassment to the game if he didn't cop a ban for that.

Only saw it the once aswell but from what I saw It looked pretty dirty and like he did try to have a grab around the eye's. He gave someone a bit of a facial later on in the match as-well. I'd like to think the RFL will be consistent and punish him for it, But part of me expects him to be playing next week with no case to answer.

Don't be daft, Leeds have the RFL in their back pocket, it'll be brushed under the carpet.

Is this the incident that the referee gave a penalty to Leeds in? Says it all to me!

the penalty was for Manu or Moa (can't remember which one) retalitating for having his eyes being scraped.

Yet when JJB retaliated for something a Hull player did later in the match, the penalty remained in Leeds' favour.

It's not the first time he's done it either.

He also did it to Sam Tomkins during the game at the DW earlier this year when McIlorum and Hauraki were having a scrap. He got away with it that time.

I knew he'd done it before but I just couldnt remember when.

It's bad stuff from the WBSR&C(worlds best second row & Centre) according to the Leeds fans. I'd have expected more from such a world class player.

Always amazes me how many Leeds come on here complaining about Wigan's lack of discipline and sportsmanship. For years the Leeds way has been, if we fall behind we'll start a fight.

Ablett is the stereotype wipe of a player.

Plays for a successful team, isnt actually that good, chucks his toys put of the pram when he gets tackled hard and resorts to cheap shots and eye gouging. I bet his fellow professional love him.

Fairly ironic he plays for Leeds, they are a perfect match for each other.

It was Manu again. Looked like a second gouge attempt to me, certainly a good rake around his face. The second time, Manu was wise to the scrote and didn't retaliate.

Don't think the ref saw it, and no one else saw it intil SKY showed the thired replay.

Be very interesting to see what number the RFL pull out of their hat this week. Expect the excuse "The player was trying to regain his feet and didn't see Manu's face"

Do Leeds have a big game the following week? If yes - Current total of games is sufficient
If no - Flip a coin - If the player wins the coin toss, no more games, if they lose it, add 1 more, allow them the chance to go double or quits.

Gouging and biting are always the most difficult to detect. It's no wonder the officials didn't see the incident, it was blind to the short-side TJ, probably too far away from the open-side TJ and Childs would have been setting the defensive line. It was only the 3rd camera angle that showed what had gone on, so I can't blame any official for missing it.

For having the audacity to get his face and eyes in the way of Ablett's fingers.
