If you take my advice you should not go anywhere near the Rugby League Heritage Centre in the George Hotel in Huddersfield and for one very good reason.

It will not be open for the next couple of weeks while an administrative issue is sorted out.

I got a junior French team coming over in three weeks and they want to visit the museum on the their travels

I went in the George for a pint the other week on my way to our game at Featherstone and even the reception area and the bar are worth a visit for the RL artefacts!

The specific reason for the temporary closure is because of the fact that the George Hotel has recently been sold and the issue of insurance has to be discussed with the new owners.
