| There are about twenty fans coming from my village of St Cyprien, and several hundred coming in total.
We have booked our flights and are now looking for hotels.
I am not looking for hotel recommendations as I worked in Manchester for fifteen years and know the area well! What I am interested in is where the majority of the English fans will be Saturday and Sunday nights.
Are you planning to stay near the stadium, go into the city centre or just go home?
There will probably not be many of you staying as I am sure most will travel in for the day. However for those who are staying around after the games we would love to meet up with you and this will affect whether we book a central Manchester hotel or one nearer the ground.

| I think the majority of people will be in the city centre or just go home. I don't think there's much round the stadium in terms of hotels, pubs etc, so you're best bet is probably the city centre.

Hi a large group of us are staying over in Manchester the Saturday night and intend to venture into Manchester for a few beers, should be a good night with a lot of different fans from various clubs. Look forward to meeting you all.

seems a fair few are making the trip over from France - I know of quite a few who are going - good to see them making the effort as it's not cheap and there's not a lot of spare money around here, like the uk probably ?

| If the weathers good sinclair's oyster bar is class near the arndale. There is a big square outside you can stand on with your pint and the atmosphere is very good on grand final day.

The best accommpaniment to oysters is without a doubt a pint of stout.
Very traditional.

I have to admit when we lived on the east coast the oysters from the Brightlingsea area used to go down well with a pint of Adnams....
