| Despite a somewhat predictable ending to the series, there is no doubt this has been a very positive 4 nations tournament. Seeing RL return to Wembley was special, seeing so many tickets sold in London is hugely positive. We then had 2 sell out crowds, with fantastic atmopsheres, at Hull and Leeds.
On the field, we saw us get closer to the Aussies. Although we ultimately lost both times, in the Wembley game I geuninely believed we could win, as I did before the game tonight however the scoreline and performance is a massive imporvement on '09. We've also seen the rise of an England back line with potential: Tomkins, Hall, Reed and Briscoe could all play a major part in England's future for years to come. The halfs still need some work IMO.
Well done ot the RFL on a good tournament, hopefully we can take the momentum into the WC.

| i'm sorry but briscoe isn't the standard we should have in an england team, but he's not the only one you could put into that category..
positives - wembley was a brilliant idea, as was a return to terestrial televison (which was watched by 1.2 million i believe), if the final was on the BEEB, it'd probably drawn an even bigger audience
changes - i think france are a better team to have in, they drew a massive crowd in the warm up game, and probably are a better team than wales on the field also.. the final at elland road - what a dump, pillars blocking views, wooden seats, book somewhere like man city early, so there is no fixture clase.. sort the referee situation out, alibert is neutral (albeit a bit bonkers) and should have been used for the england/aus games..
overall i've been impressed with the running of the tournament off the field
