I reckon theres as good a chance as any. The fact that he left with year remaining on his contract tends to suggest that he's got something lined up. The question is where?

I have a source pretty damn close to Dennis and he is not coming back to RL yet. There are no offers on the table. He is enjoying his time off.

I can't believe he's left a decent job with a years contract left to go without having a few irons in the fire.

I have encountered exactly the same pitch at Reading M4 services, which makes it a bit more geographically credible, but his chances of success were limited by the notices stuck up inside the services building, warning against just this stunt. This was 2 or 3 years ago.
