Our very own Doogal is taking part in the Carnegie Challenge, along with Steve Prescott and co, starting this weekend: cycling from Perpignan to Windsor Castle, paddling 24m down the Thames (in a Dragon boat) from Windsor to London, followed by a half marathon to Wembley …

Today this piece was wrote by the Press Association, it is a great article and it tells you about Steve's story. This is not the end of the road for Steve by any stretch of the imagination. I am biased but when our sport and press would rather talk about drug cheats and the M62 Corridor, Steve Prescotts story is now getting National recognition and he is something amongst many things we should be shouting from the rooftops.

is there a web page on which progress of the challenge is updated?
i see that there is a limited edition 'Prekky challange' T shirt and TWO balls autographed by all the participants (Joynty/Sculthorpe/Connolly/Hampson/Sullivan etc) on E bay - no bids yet - all proceeds to Prekky - think i will start the bidding.
