Well I see him as English. In fact he should be put in the Scotland squad whilst England decide if they want him in the future. And if they don't he can always go back to New Zealand or Somoa, or even Fiji if they are short of players one weekend.

Thats right.
The same Harrison Hansen who played for England in 2003 and 2004 before representing NZ or Samoa, describes his home town as Swinton, who signed for Wigan from Folly Lane ARLFC and who has lived in England since he was 5.

When will the people running our game understand that you can't choose which country you play for? And you certainly can't switch and play for another when you feel like it! Rugby League is an absolute joke, domestic and international.

Richard Lewis brought this matter up at a meeting of the RLIF and wanted players who once they have represented a country at senior level them players have to stick with that country. Surprise Surprise it got turned down by you know who.

If others didn't agree to it why should England penalise themselves.
Look at the 45 man england union squad for the world cup a third of them were born outside England.
Look at the Italian union 6 nations squad, half of them weren't even Italians
Look at the England Cricket team how many of them are English?
Look at the Ireland soccer side under Jack Charlton , how many of them were Irish?

Well it's pretty prevalent throughout sport so it would appear that everybody else has accepted this. It's now a non-issue.

Do you know what's really sad? In the past when Wakefield haven't haven't been playing I've often gone to other games just to watch a game of rugby. I've been to Leeds, Castleford, Featherstone, Dewsbury, Bramley, Hunslet as well as Grand Finals, Internationals and Origin matches for no other reason than it was a game of rugby. I don't do that any more, and it's purely because of what our game has become. What happens on the pitch is no longer relevant, the international game is a joke and we're further away from beating the Aussies than any other time since I started watching the game 23 years ago. I've become so disillusioned with the game that I was even pleased when the Exiles beat England. My Sky Sports subscription has also gone. Unless it's Wakefield involved I don't really care anymore. So you're probably right, I won't be missed.

As for Wigan having too many overseas players were not breaking any rules. No one should ever complain about Wigan until they produce as many or more Players than we do. Leeds:
With other SL/NRL clubs:
Adrian Morley
Garreth Carvell
Richard Mathers
Nick Fozzard
Ewan Dowes
Peter Fox
Scott Murrell
Jason Netherton
Chev Walker
Nick Scruton
Matt Diskin
Gareth Raynor
Kyle Briggs
Jodie Broughton
Ashley Gibson
Danny Williams
Luke Gale
Danny Ward
Mark Calderwood
Gareth Moore
Richard Moore
Jordan Tansey
Luke Burgess
I make that 23 to your 19.
Currently part of the Leeds first team squad:
Lee Smith
Ryan Hall
Danny McGuire
Rob Burrow
Jamie Jones-Buchanan
Carl Ablett
Kevin Sinfield
Ryan Bailey
Kallum Watkins
Chris Clarkson
Ben Jones-Bishop
Paul McShane
Brad Singleton
Jared Stewart
Liam Hood
Callum Casey
George Elliott
Which I make to be 17 each on that count.
Want to revise your one-eyed comment that Leeds are still "some way behind" Wigan when it comes to producing SL standard players?

Firstly, how many Superleague games have Stewart, Hood, Casey and Elliott played? None.
So that would be 17 v 13, unless we add Sam Powell, Ryan King, Dom Crosby, Logan Tomkins and Matty Russell, who are 'currently part of the Wigan first team squad', which would make it 22 v 17.
Secondly, you need to add Mark Flanagan, Sean Long, Eloi Pelissier, Kyle Amor and Joe Mellor to the list of Super League players who have played in Wigan's Academy. 24 v 23?

How many of those had to leave because you decided to sign an overseas player instead?
Hull KR have a had a lot of critiscism (and rightly so in some instances) but in most cases i could have used the similar excuses the Wigan fans are using on here. At the end of the day clubs have to take the lead and reduce the numbers, we had an excuse of not producing enough but they are starting and I'd hope we'll reduce our numbers. But as the Wigan fans have pointed out they have had the production line available, yet they chose not to fully use it, sign an o/seas player and move the lads on.
