At this point the P taking stops, hope its something and nothing for you guys, needs communicating to fans/sponsors now its out imo to stop any panic. We were there 3 years ago when the new board took over.

Friday night so Green will be at synagogue, so doubt club will say anything until tomorrow. Can't imagine its anything major as things seem to be going OK off field, maybe a supplier we're in dispute with.

Well hoping it's nothing to worry about. Can't see us signing Chisholm if we're a bout to be wound up.

However I wish the club would get a bloody grip of this. I know HMRC I much more keen with issuing winding up petitions than before, but the club should be doing better. Winding up petitions scare the fans and put off sponsors and with our clubs history just creates bad publicity. Get it sorted!

Strange. Any time someone criticises the club they get bombarded by comments about how well it is run. Isn't this the second 'misunderstanding' this year.

This sort of thing doesn't happen to well run clubs.

Hard to say what significance it has. Many businesses play to the edge these days - it's pretty much par for the course to leave bills until the last possible moment.

Not good though and, as mentioned, it can do nothing for sponsors and goodwill. Needs sorting and fast.

The club needs to make a statement - the longer they keep quiet, the more the speculation.

Well, the good thing is that the speculation can't last long if it's due to come up on Monday.....

If Ross H chased this story, he'd immediately have the same idiots on here slagging him off for being negative about the club again.

Club statement:

A spokesperson for the Bulls have moved to dispel fears and explain the position of the club in regards to the ‘Winding Up Petition’ against the club currently creating concern on social media.

“At this time, the moment a payment doesn't arrive with HMRC they automatically petition for a ‘WUP’ against this club - they (HMRC) have confirmed in writing, this treatment is as a result of the previous regimes and the money they lost.

“Circa 6 weeks ago they issued a notice to ‘wind up’ which merely crossed with a payment being received. The payment cleared and as a result they did not advertise the fact the petition had been issued. Nevertheless despite having no liability to them and despite their confirmation they would not advertise the petition, they said they would not withdraw the petition just in case there was further liability at the time.

“They (HMRC) have confirmed on Friday (1st of July) nothing is owing and that Monday is merely a formality to have it dismissed. We will be having further dialogue on Monday morning to ensure all issues are finalised.”

We would like to apologise to all Bulls supporters whom were concerned with this matter.

Still worrying that the payment was late in the first place. Seems that HMRC aren't the sort that'll let you off with a slap on the wrists these days given the club's recent history
