Got the email the other day saying our away shirt will be launched and available to purchase when we play cas, a, I correct in assuming the players will be playing in the away shirt instead of the home. Sure they did this last season and the season before that?

Any ideas on the design?

Here's a preview of the new away kit, modelled by Sammutt and our new signing, Methuselah (on a 250 year loan) at the new Hades training facility.

The sticks are a new feature, for the players and fans alike to beat themselves about the head with, or poke in their eyes. There is no undergarment or protective padding as we have been penalised half our kit.

You will note that the Spit and Bile Balcony for Wakey fans has not in fact been built, as head groundsman Mr. B.L. Zebub explained it would interfere with the eternal fire temperatures.

The colours are almost in the right order too.

I dug out a signed shirt from the 2005 GF (those where the days) that. I forgot I even had and the colours on the sleeves are in order red, black and amber, wonder if people complained then also?

Hell, Bullseye got a very public ticking-off from a head coach at a fans forum around then, for complaining about the colour order. The shame lives with him to this day.

Wasn't one of the "traditional" shirts from the early 1900s also not in the [earwigoagain RA&B order? I'm obviously assuming they [that is the 'new' retro designs were taken from old photos.

Though, in their defence, it should be noted that black and red look very alike in old monochrome photos....

I think that Leeds fan Mr Duffy was to blame. He must've said something to McNamara who from then on became McBanana to me. His sense of good taste in jerseys was up there with his ability to spot a good player.

Unlike the home shirt I've no idea what the away shirt will be, some say it's the purple and green colours again, and for some reason I think it may look like the St Helens away kit from this year, but the blue majority is purple with a green v.

The midnight blue away shirt from a few years back was one of my all-time favourites.

WOW ISC have spent time thinking about that design. I know we'll rotate the shirt 90degrees!

Anyone who brought an away shirt last year isn't going to get this one as they are almost identical!

Also, it's not exactly that much different to the home one in terms of avoiding a colour clash.

No point blaming ISC. Have you seen the Catalans away jersey for this year? They can design brilliant shirts, but the design we pick is up to the CLUB. I don't even know who was running our damn club when this decision was made, such is the ridiculousness of our present situation, but whoever it was is at fault for the lame away shirt we have. Not ISC.

Well unfortunately i am not a fan of either, home one too much like Hull FC. Away one i'm not a fan of.

Don't mind that tbh. Hardly imaginative but not offensive compared to some of recent efforts.

Leeds have had different variations of pink away kits for a number of years. I seem to remember their 2011 and 2012 away shirts being very similar.

Maybe last years away shirt was a popular seller? Perhaps the club didn't want to break away from a popular design?

That is a horrible shirt.

They need to get the next heritage shirt vote out, the replicas this year are rubbish.

Indicative of the complete lack of inspiration at the club at the moment.

+1 on the Heritage shirt...can I put in an early sugestion for the early #90s red with chevron kit pls, the version manufactured by Ellgren rather than Bukta.

I can only imagine roger simpson in it. Loved that one.
