| Just wanted to know how everyone feels about the club compared with this time last year.
Not talking about form, whitehead or jarrod Sammut's new haircut
I'm asking because there is a lot of negativity at the moment (I've been quick to criticise ill have to admit) but without taking the form of the first team into account how do you all feel about the club as a whole?
Early on in the season we were all buzzing - New owners, new coach, great form etc.
In terms of progress I think we're doing remarkably well. Odsal hasn't had as much going on for years, until now we have been solid in the top 8 and we do have some exciting young players.
Considering the turmoil of last year and the amount of players we lost I think we should be relatively happy with where we are atm. This is not the early 2000s bulls, or even the team of last year but I think FC is doing his best with the squad we have and certainly knows how to get the effort out of the players. I for one am excited about the future, and -despite a few minor hiccups- I have a lot more confidence in this management than the previous lot. Many of us would have taken the wooden spoon this year just to have a club to support, and we've been given much more than that so far!
P.s sorry for the positive thread, ME won't be happy

As for me? In short.
Good start. Wheels started to come off when behind the scenes "issues" became apparent. Some good, some bad, but too many basic failings. Happy with Cummins, not happy with the owners and annoyed that we have shot ourselves in the foot with our PR disasters.
We have a competitive first choice 17, but sod all else.
Oh, and we need a new defence coach.

| I'm pretty happy, and I would have been happy with the situation even if it had been worse, from a playing pov.
The club seems stable and is moving in the right direction, which, when compared with the goings on last season, is all I would have ever asked for. We kept a solid team but a thin overall squad and a small number of training staff, we remained in SL though whether this was really for the [i:3az0ogozlong term[/i is of no real consequence, imo.

Club is miles from where it was last year. Owners are doing a good job but it will take time. Interesting piece below because most posters seem to think the club has no money and is going under.

Interesting that there are no comments about it. Perhaps it just doesn't fit in with that the stirrers want us to believe.

| I think time will tell whether the new owners are as great as they and everyone wants to believe. However on the field we are pretty much where I expected us to be given the tiny squad and the lack of brass.
I don't expect a massive change in 2014 given that we've the same financial constraints. Hopefully we'll consolidate and be ready to really kick on in 2015.

| Maybe with Bradford City back into League 1 and the increase money it bring we could work on joint ventures in regard to player conditioning you never know.

| After the "disruption" last year, and the exidous of players from the squad we are much better placed than I expected. It would be nice to see a slightly bigger squad next year, especially in the front row coupled with more backroom support.
As for OK - don't think he had much RL in his background - so you have to applaud him for saving the club and reaching out to the fans. His big challenge will be who to bring more funding into the club - as there seems to have been a few false starts.
Overall 7/10

| He is a business man who came at the right time and that's what we needed to save the club and get the money coming is which i think he has done, we could, do with some more rugby orientated people at the club if i am honest.
Couple or decent signings in the off-season and some more back room staff and we are doing ok, we also will get our sky money the season after next so really damage limitation until and what ever we can achieve will be a huge bonus.

Indeed Relic, they've planted a few seeds, but - how does the story go - the odd one has fallen on stony ground?
To be fair, given the general lack of interest from the business community last year, it's hard to imagine there are lots of people queuing up right now, I mean it's not as though there is lots of loose cash looking for a home with many businesses just ticking over at best. I just hope we don't get too many 'hangers on', putting no money in the kitty but hoping to make something out of being associated with the club.

| Thats the catch 22 - by and large businesses want to be associated with success, and to secure that sucess you need the money. So we need to either find someone with an unfashionable long view on investments or a long term Bulls supporter who wins the euromillions.
Of course the other handcap we are wrestling with this year and next is the lack of Sky Money - roll on a more level playfield
