The rhino's always get the easiest of draws, so irritating isn't it!

In the last three seasons they have drawn Harlequins , crusaders , salford , wakey , castleford , hull fc ( twice ) saints and wigan , and blackpool , so yeah always the easiest of draws



How does this compare with bradford's recent draws ?

Haven`t Leeds drawn SL opposition something like the last 13 or 14 rounds?

Oh, we don't bother with those, we just get knocked straight out usually.

Blackpool at Headingley May 2010 ( ? ) was last time we had a non-SL opposition in the CC . At the time I kinda wished we had drawn them away just for the opportunity of a weekend at the seaside . Oh ! And the SouthStand band couldn't play I do Like To Be Beside The Seaside . I talked them to giving it a go , but they couldn't quite manage it .

I believe Leigh will be the first time in 12 rounds we have had non-Super League opposition.

I wouldn't worry about it. They don't have great success in CC finals.

A cracking draw. A good chance of 2 Yorkshire teams being in the semis, plus a good chance of Cats beating Wire & one of Saints & Wigan out. The rugby gods done good.

We tend to use those games as a warm up to the Grand Finals at the end of the year.

Lost 5 CC finals in SL era. Only once have you won SL trophy on back of it. Brilliant warm up.

Oh no, we can't ever criticise a club doing better than us at the moment.

Anyway, i don't understand why some Bulls fans are even bothered about who Leeds get in CC. 1 CC in SL era for a team size of Leeds is hardly what i call lucky.

It`s because they are so obsessed with the way our club is run they forget that they wont have a club in SL to support next year.
Never mind if you save your money on your pledge you might get a season ticket in the Southstand next year.
Mind you it will be a bit more than the £60 you pay now.

The one's that are bothered are only in the minority i'd say. There was just as many Leeds fans obsessed with Bradford when we were good not that long ago. Those that come on here and hijack threads about why leeds are so lucky

Leeds really should have won at least two of those finals.

We were underdogs in the 2000 one against the Bulls (Lance was coach IIRC), and tbh I was impressed we managed to give you a game. The 2003 game will be always remembered for Sinfield not taking the two and Adamson playing with a plate in his jaw, but being up against one of the best ever sides in SL we had no right to win that even if Sinfield had done things differently. Hull in 2005 was different - what a missed opportunity (why was a crippled Keith Senior risked?). Warrington in 2010 was likewise a missed opportunity - Leeds should have at least put in a better display. As for last year, no-one gave us a hope in hell before the game so we couldn't be too upset at the result, even if the rub of the green seemed to go to Wigan at a few crucial moments.
