| Hey guys im a quins fan coming up for the game in April, im looking at staying up there and going back the following day.
What I would like to know is how much would a cab cost from the ground back to the station?
Or would it be better to stay near the ground?
Cheers

| A city taxi would be about £6 from the station to Odsal, a normal taxi would be £4 or £5.

| Well if you're wanting to stay near the ground, the obvious choice would be Cedar Court.

| how are you coming up to Bradford? Are you driving or coming by public transport?
There's an etap opposite the massive Tesco on Canal Road, which is probably your cheapest option
There's a Holiday Inn express, which is just round the corner from the Interchange so if you're coming in by train that's probably your best bet.
Or there's Cedar Court which is 5 minutes from the ground

| I've actually been looking at Bradford hotels for that very weekend as I have some friends over from Spain (I did my best to convince them otherwise).
In terms of choice of hotels and value you'd probably be best in the centre, at somewhere like the Great Victoria, HI express or the (Bulls affiliated) Jurys Inn which was £45 per night that weekend when I checked the other day - the two options nearer Odsal (Guide Post and Cedar Court) tend to be a bit more expensive. It's only a fiver in a taxi up to Odsal/Wibsey and it'd be more convenient for your arrival and getaway.

Hope you've prepared them for the delights of the city centre!
I'd whisk them out to Saltaire, Haworth, Ilkley etc as quick as possible!

Your best bet then is the Holiday Inn. It's virtually next door to the Interchange, and it's not massively expensive.

They've been angling to come over for a few years.
In the last email I received they said they've seen all the pictures and can't wait to stroll along the oasis of the re-generated Bradford canal to the urban village then shop and dine in the new Westfield complex, while staying in a fancy apart-hotel located above it.
