Wolves have always travelled well and they are a fantastic set of fans, but don't be a big fat turd. You're getting numbers in now because you are winning a bit and playing some good stuff, you haven't always had a lot of fans and there will be a time when the bandwagon stops rolling and the glory fans jump off, just like all teams. Now, Mr Redrosewire, go look at your club's accounts (all the sets , not just the rugby club) and you will see where the money came from. Not from the game. Not from the (usually excellent, but there are exceptions of which you would appear to be a candidate) fans, but from your owner and from your club's development deal with Tesco.

You might also look into what other off-field costs your owner pays for, costs which free up the club's resources to concentrate on-field.

As for "all the winning money" - you clearly have no idea then of how much you actually win, especially for WCCs. And what happens to much of it (clue: players).

There are already plenty of Bulls fans on here commenting on the appalling attendance. We don't need you to come on with dumbass gloating. Some other, probably more adult, Wire fans have made perfectly reasonable observations without the juvenile comments you feel the need to resort to.

Anyone with an ounce of understanding of the economics of the game knows that a club does not get rich out of success - at best it breaks even over time. Go ask Saints why, with all their success, they had to receive massive funds injections from their owner, and have to sell their ground to be able to move to the new retail-funded site (and good luck to them, btw). Go ask Leeds how they became financially strong through astute property deals a smuch as anything else. Go ask Wigan why they had to sell Central Park to Tesco despite all their success.

I would just like to say that thankfully the vast majority of Warrington fans I have met and spoken to these last few decades are absolutely not at all like the sort of twa=#FFFFFF[size=5.[/sizets that have surfaced on here in the last couple of days, they're OK. Spoke to several Wire fans before the match. Sound guys, the lot, and very much (and rightfully) enjoying their time in the sun, and recognising their relative good fortune.

This statement is awesome. An attempt to say "your fans have all disappeared", but it also has the double meaning of a load of Warrington "glory fans" have now turned up since the Wilderspool days.
