Thats what I thought, Kearney and L'Estrange both really impressed me and the result is unimportant, especially when its so close.

A few spelling mistakes and not a literary masterpiece but I doubt the author is paid much if anything. Perhaps volunteer your expertise, worse they can say is no thanks.

It wasn't sarcasm. We have plenty on here quick to moan and whinge about petty stuff. Whoever writes the report is obviously no journo so perhaps they do it for nowt. I seriously doubt the club pay for somebody to cover friendly games. I personally would choose not to criticise unless I could do better or would be willing to give up my time to actually write a report.

I must admit I noticed this myself when I read it last night.

I just assumed though that it was either done very quickly to get something on the website, or it was done via a phone (or similar device) where it's far more difficult to type or some annoying spell corrector kicks in. It looks like nothing but typing errors to me, so I would assume it's one of those two and it wasn't really checked.
