given that we've just let a couple of top quality players leave becuase of being injury prone then i doubt we'd be signing tony.

A year or so ago he looked like a dangerous pacey attacking player. Haven't seen much of him recently, has he been injured? Has international experience for NZ as well.

I would have thought he'd be a very good signing for Bradford.

Aagh... now I'm racking my brains for a Bradford player who had a surname for a first name and a first name for a surname. The closest I can get is Hudson Smith and a weak joke about a full back of Indian origin called Mumbai Qa'ith.

Obvious one for those with a first name for a surname is a certain Penguin, but Graeme is hardly much of a surname!

Same goes for Paul brothers, Gareth Stanley, Nathan Graham & Stanley Gene (although if you use proper pronunciation, that don't work).

Matt Elliott, Stanley Gene and Harvey Howard also fall into the first name-first name category. But while it's nearly there...

I'm struggling to think of anyone with a surname for a first name too. I'd thought of Howard but not Elliott. Might have to dig out one of my old yearbooks when I get home from work and have a flick through.
