Tbf he did have a good game and atm he is one of the best English FB. Imo Owen will get the FB jersey for England in a couple of seasons, but atm Briscoe deserves it. If you'd have seen Halley a couple of weeks ago I could have said the same to you.

Btw, i'd just like to praise Halley for his defensive efforts, we'd have been another 3 tries down if it wasn't for him. I wish all the players showed as much effort as he does.

Agreed he is all heart but his ball playing is nowhere good enough!! He's not quick but just about quick enough till his pace fades like the saints cart horse wello!! Lee smith is miles better than him!! Smith is quicker, a better passer and can kick out of hand and kick goals. It's just a massive shame smith if off to wasps.

I wouldn't say miles better, but he is a better all round player. And it is definitely a shame he's crossing over to the dark side

Yeah, from what i've seen of him he looks an extremely good prospect. Have you had chance to see Ben Hellewell in our Academy? Imo he's one of the brightest prospects at our club and will in 5 or 6 years be challenging for Honours.

Keiran Hyde is an awesome prospect.

I agree, but imo Hellewell is a natural FB and will do better than Hyde. I'd like to see Hyde get more games at Stand-off and hopefully he'll be able to cement that role.

He will become an intergrale part of the squad as smith and others did before him !! Maybe as a winger or other positions until Webb leaves!! Bjb has basically had webby as his mentor and coach!! How lucky is that kid??

Very lucky, he'll make a fine player for another team once he gets fed up of waiting for a chance. How old is he, 21? Better hope Webb moves on in the next few years if you wanna see this kid make the NO1 jersey his own.
