I wouldn't be quick to broadcast how Scruton was a wonderful buy for you. Infact I wouldnt be quick to broadcast how anyone recently (Morrison and Maybe Menzies aside) have been a great buy for you. Scruton was surplus to Leeds' needs and wanted more than he was worth so they palmed him off........I just hope Bulls aint paying him more than he deserves. And so far this season....he don't deserve much!

FWIW I didn't want to lose Scruton, he's a good player. But like many before him (Including Brent Webb, who very nearly joined you before signing his extension) he found out that Hetherington won't be held to ransom. Leeds aren't going to hand stupid wages out. If that means we need to lose good young players (Calderwood, Scrutes, Chev Walker etc) to safeguard the financial future of the club then so be it.

FWIW I don't think it should have got a ban in the first place, especially if Greenshields only received a warning for his challenge on Halley.

No mate, this is always the way with the top clubs. Saints get away with everything too, look at all the penalties they 'won' last season. When we was good we would get the rub of the green with the officials. It is a vicious cycle unfortunately.
