Just one other complication. At the BullBuilder meeting on Wednesday, we heard that Academy player sponsorship [uwould[/u be available at £100 a time. One contributor present asked if we should consider getting an Academy sponsorship [ias well as[/i Matt Diskin. Anyone else have any views?

The sponsorship of Academy players is very much to our liking, so YES from us.
There are quite a few academy players who should play for the first team this season and appreciate the sponsorship.
I strongly feel that early recognition of young players in this way creates lasting goodwill from them to the supporters
Perhaps a £10 contribution might be more attractive as a base to work from.
Those who wish to contribute £10 can do so and those of us who wish to contribute £20 can do that.

Might also be worth considering instead contributing to Bullbuilder, so we have control over how and on what, the money is spent?

Re the Diskin sponsorship, all contributions are now in and I have been given bank transfer details for the club, so the money will go across when I am at home with some time to carry out the transaction (tonight or tomorrow night, depending on BullBuilder Committee meeting commitments).

Systems are go also for junior player sponsorship. I'll create a separate thread for that when I get a few minutes to comb through the last few pages of this one, to compile a list of those who have expressed an interest.
