Poor replacement for Ox if it is. Bosc is alright but he's not in the same league (well, he is, but you know what I mean).

Would be on a bout a third of the brass. Would actually get onto the grass more and for me is chronically underrated.

I have long found Orford, underwhelming.

He would be cheaper, no doubt. But for a reason.

To be honest, I've always found Bosc overrated. Not convinced he's be anywhere near an international team if France weren't so short of quality.

I think Bosc is a great player (double chip-kick try, anyone?) but have always thought of him as a six rather than a 7.
Plus I'm almost certain he is still contracted at Catalans for the forseeable future.

Nothing the club can do to stop that happening if he isn't re-signed.

Thats ok, we need a 6 too, he'd fit right in. Could be a good signing, or it could be just Potter being linked to a load of ex players? Elima and Bosc coming in would be an improvement to our current squad.

The Elima rumour has more legs than the Bosc one I reckon though.

From what i've heard he is a big Rhinos hater (it could be wrong)

But if he is off it will be to Wakefield, Castleford or Hull KR who will all offer more money.

Not reet sure about that accuracy. Not to my knowledge. Particularly given his old mans allegiance.

Leon also has a hatred for all things Rhino, but would still pull on their jersey given the right amount of Queens heads.

To clarify, I don't think Bosc a bad player. And if Ox does leave, Bosc would be an in improvement to the squad (he's certainly a better half than Sykes). I just don't think he's quite the player that he is sometimes made out to be and he's certainly not Orford. I am in no way saying though that I wouldn't happy with the signing though as he would improve the squad. Even if Orford doesn't leave, the option of Bosc/Ox in the halves and Kearney at fullback would also be an improvement on the current squad.

However, he's under contract, so I don't expect it to happen at all. Especially since Catalans have struggled for stable halves for years now.

More likely Wigan or Warrington I'd say.
