Nothing is going to change. The Sky deal ends at the end of 2020 season. Increasing the numbers of Champ clubs from 12 to 14 will mean everyone gets a central funding reduction, unless the SL clubs vote to transfer more money






But, I'm sure from 2021 franchising will be back on the table, and you could name the 14 clubs now that would get into SL then....

I think the idea is that 13th and 14th would get the same funding as if they were 1st and 2nd in champ 1. So no extra money required.

I think RFL will make sure they get result they want, irrespective of what happens on the field. If our last couple of admins are proof of anything, its rfl inability not to manipulate events to get their desired result.

Reality check..makes me realise how utterly futile, the attempt to get this Club on it's feet and avoid relegation has been. Also rans maybe, but whipping boys of a mostly part time Championship shows how inept the management on the playing side has been.I know we have no divine right to success or glory, but just to at least have been given a fighting chance...I feel as if we have been mugged and by circumstances out of our control as supporters. Promises of 'we will not be going down' seem to dig the knife in deeper and I am losing respect for the whole RL set up and the way 'our survival/future' was ordained for us. I am bitter because more than ever the Club/League needs our loyalty despite the fact we have continuously been fed negativity. What a complete farce, if we somehow avoid relegation, if not by fair means.

I've counted 15 disgusting's on the field board and 79 disk races on the blue sox board at the prospect of us only being relegated. If we weren't the RFL's pets we would have all been executed and then our remains sent to prison for life! The club should be made to start in the outer Hebridean corporate 5 a side biannual trophy! Is a disk race!

no doubt the facks board were happy when we were deducted £1m in funding leading into a promotion/relegation battle that did for us. IF we stay up due to change of structure then its payback for that deduction; sorting out the RFL's fixture problem and paying for the pleasure of doing so; and being deducted 14 points for the pleasure of sorting out the RFL's summer bashed problem.

ROFL at the trolls who seem to think *IF* the clubs voted to increase the division size, this *CAN ONLY BE* because every club chairman is a secret Bradford placeman!

The meeting isn't about fsckin Bradford FFS!!

And the irony is that The Club Most Screwed title is currently held by the new BB outfit which was forced to play in this division, with no money and under severe penaties, which was deemed to be the best thing for all other clubs and plainly the worst thing for the new BB. So anyone who still claims stuff is done to "favour" BB is certifiably insane. The clubs in such meetings vote to do what is in their own best interests. And so they should. Whether that co-incides with other club's interests or not is purely incidental.

There's someone on the Halifax board trying to start a thread about Stevo being biased towards Bradford in commentary against Fax in 1998. That's not good enough...
