Do we expect an announcement today, an announcement of announcement today, an announcement there was a meeting or the day to just drift by without so much as a 'meh!'.

I am going with relegation confirmed on Friday followed by underlining the fact it's us by a 1 point defeat to KR on Sunday and the rest of the season spent moping and deciding to do with my Sundays next year.

I'm going with no announcement, but a never ending stream of "I know what happened at the meeting" know-it-alls making up all kinda of crap.

No chance of an announcement I don't think. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if nothing is decided today, they'll probably just defer it like the SL meeting a few weeks ago.

We are Bradford fans waiting for an announcement, surely recent experience tells us to add about 48 days on to the ETA.

I already have decided in my head we are going down and I will be visiting some new grounds next year.

IF there is to be any change to league structures, I'm sure it will be announced, in true RL fashion, just before the season starts - though not too late to muck up the fixture lists, of course..

I would say nothing today, with chance of bad news tomorrow or Friday..

I'd say mathematically we are down now, so we need an RFL miracle and I wouldn't count on them for anything.

If we are in C1 next year however I will still go and support the club if the performance's warrant been watched...

We have to have uncertainty...otherwise we may sign up our better players for next season and allowing that and a full pre-season means a season of almost normality for us.

Does the meeting today actually carry any weight? Serious question...

I mean, the chairman can have as many meetings as they like (I'm sure it's good for the expenses budget) but if they don't have the power to effect change, then it's all a bit pointless anyway.

My guess is the chairman get together and (with an eye on their bank balance) come up with a plan for no relegation this year. This get's communicated to the RFL who say, 'Nah....' and we get relegation confirmed when we lose the next couple of games.

Absolutely no mention of it from any of the RL journos on twitter. I'm starting to think we might have just imagined it all.

So we're not sure if there is a meeting or if they will decide anything or whether their decision will carry ant weight if they do decide anything. The only thing for definite is that this thread should be worth approx 50 pages.

Nothing is going to change. The Sky deal ends at the end of 2020 season. Increasing the numbers of Champ clubs from 12 to 14 will mean everyone gets a central funding reduction, unless the SL clubs vote to transfer more money






But, I'm sure from 2021 franchising will be back on the table, and you could name the 14 clubs now that would get into SL then....

I think the idea is that 13th and 14th would get the same funding as if they were 1st and 2nd in champ 1. So no extra money required.

So according to that, nothing is changing this year. 2 teams will be relegated from the Championship.

Until its 'evaluated' by RFL board at end of season and clubs are told whats going to happen. nice little get out clause that.

I think RFL will make sure they get result they want, irrespective of what happens on the field. If our last couple of admins are proof of anything, its rfl inability not to manipulate events to get their desired result.

That is soooooo unfair - we only finished bottom of our league.
What about the fact that neither SL or Champ divisions can manage to stay afloat without the mighty Bulls

The RFL should step in and save their favourite pet - and while they are at it they should somehow manage to ensure that we get relegated from L1 next season as well.
