Not really he really lays into the current situation. States no player is safe in the team regardless of reputation. Says the squad is getting back to full strength and results need to start happening. Says players must play for the shirt and show desire and there will be no place for those that don't. Says we clearly need a couple of young and enthusiastic big props
Last bit made me chuckle though saying he would personally shoot anyone who complains the ground is too hot when the cladding is put up at the end of this month.

Funny that, he brought all this crap to the club.

Makes sense with the rumours of Perry and Hohaia being told there time is up. A couple more of the squad might start looking over their shoulders if a couple of 'stars' are shown the door

There is no room for sub par performances either from the team or individual players. We have prettying a full squad to choose from now and they all have to play with pride for their shirt, there will be no place for those that don't , regardless of reputation.

Brown needs to read and absorb that bit and then stop tinkering in order to actually give the players a chance to secure some wins.

Other comments of note re half back

My interpretation of the above would be:-

Players left would be Eastmond,
Long term injuries: Wheeler
Not Developed: Gaskell, Hohoia

Eamonn also says we need " a Couple of big, young and enthusiastic props, to improve our go forward, and to add aggression to our defence"

We've known for two years we needs halfbacks and props, its strange that McManus has only just noticed this.

Exactly. People have to realise it's not all black and white. McManus did a great job of stabilising our finances and providing us with the stadium. Great, very deserving of praise on that. However, at the same time the club he is ultimately responsible for suffered during that time and the fact we're in this position now isn't some fluke caused by injuries and players not putting enough effort in, like his programme notes seem to claim. It's due to horrendous recruitment in both coaching and playing roles over the last 5 or 6 years.

Same with Wello. Another club legend and a man who I would take a bullet for, based on what he's done for the club over the years. But he's not good enough anymore, he isn't worth a contract now.

I can't testify to its accuracy but a guy behind me said he was at a forum a few weeks ago and KC was asked about the "situation" with our pack and how they are performing.

His response was that in his opinion "we have the best pack in the league".

Needless to say everyone in the room looked round at each other as if to say he must be watching a different team. At least Eamon doesn't buy into that.

As a West Ham fan as well as rugby league I know far too well that Club Chairmen should keep a background role or otherwise they have to take all the blame!

Senior management report to the CEO, CEO reports to the Chairman, all actions taken are the responsibility of everyone in a senior position at the club, with the buck stopping at the Chairman.

Not sure if that has been totally the case with McManus? not every chairman has hands on control as he likes, some are the final decision maker only.

I see his 'notes' are just hot air as usual. He states that in the programme on Sunday and it's on twitter that he's extended his contract on Monday.

Yes that about sums it all up.

Sunday: "Players need to pull their socks up or else"

Monday: "Oh here Boof have another year"

You just don't know what will happen next, a new Perry deal? I want to be positive about the future but the club just keep on throwing it back in our faces and laughing at us.

The McManus notes sounds as though he has kept his "eye off the ball" during the new stadium tenure and perhaps he,s now trying to get back on track "hands on". Rushy will be taking the load of McManus so maybe our Chairman wants improvements or there will be actions on players as he already has mentioned.

Or maybe he is just trying to placate the fans by saying stuff he thinks they will want to hear.
