This may have been said elsewhere, and apologies if it has, but I really hope that none of the Saints fans boo players from other teams tomorrow night.

I was there last year when it happened and it was pretty embarrassing and disappointing to hear.

I mean, I hate Sam Tomkins. Well, hate's a strong word - 'strongly dislike' would be better. When he plays against us wearing a Wigan shirt, I will boo him etc as much as I like. When he is gesturing to the fans or trying to milk a penalty, I will berate him like anyone else.

But tomorrow, he is playing for ENGLAND. And I will be cheering for England as I hope 99% of the stadium will be too. Therefore I hope he has a brilliant game and rips them to pieces.

Let's show that Saints fans are the best in the country, if not the world.

I don't dislike Tomkins but I do dislike Hock. He's a drug cheat and should never be allowed to wear representative colours of our great country again. He's a poor role model and an out and out thug. That's a topic for another day though, I certainly won't be booing any English players.

The issue with the drugs (which were recreational, IIRC) can be put to bed IMO. He made a stupid mistake and paid for it - two years out of a rugby league career is a pretty heavy price, and he's done his time on that score. His general demeanour on the pitch, however, does my head in. He's one of those players you just want to see get clobbered, but he's good enough to get away with it. It's irritating as an opposing fan, but then the game would be poorer without its pantomime villains (in fact, Saints could really do with one of their own at the moment). While he's playing for England I'll be putting any such issues aside, anyway.

Incorrect, cocaine is listed as a performance enhancing drug due to some of it's properties by the WADA. The study and classification was carried out by people with far more knowledge in the area than you or me, to question that classification is frankly laughable.

Hock took this drug fully aware of what he was taking and suffered appropriate consequences.

Cunningham was cleared of any wrong doing as the drug had been administered to him unknowingly so that's not relevant at all. Coincidentally, if Hock had been cleared for the same reason I wouldn't have a problem.

If there is any booing of players (which I severely doubt will happen) then who says that it will be Saints fans? I'm sure there will be a lot of Warrington, Wigan, Widnes etc fans there too..

I'm not sure there will be a lot of any fans there to be honest. Apparently the sales have been very poor, with numbers struggling to get to the five figure variety.

I expect anyone watching on TV will see a big gap of empty seats in the middle of the North Stand because Saints were only allowed to put them on general sale this week and they also happen to be the most expensive - something like £29!! Apparently Saints have had to do the RFL's bidding so far as selling tickets are concerned and that is the way internationals are run.

True. I cant see Saints fans booing Tomkins and would like to think that no England players would get booed. Getting booed by rival fans is water off a ducks back for players but getting booed by your own fans is totally different. It is not at all constructive and could have a big effect on the players performance, never mind the team a whole.

That's an appalling turnout if they only just make 10k.

No doubt many of those who can't be bothered to attend will also be the ones bemoaning the state of international RL and moaning when Langtree Park is overlooked in future.

We are there to support England tommorow. I hope there is no booing for any of the English players.

I don’t understand your attitude, when we play you men, then yes the gloves are off, but when it’s your country, NO!. I’m a Pie through and through but it’s my flag first. It’s like it must have been in the Great War in the trenches.
