Have you all seen the leg break from last night. Poor Chev Walker, the lad must be in agony. May even be career ending as psychologically it must be hard to come back and play as hard as before after an experience like that. It may need plating and screws, etc.

You can imagine the strain on a player's body at the highest level but you don't realise how much it really is till you see a player's leg just snap from the strain as he was twisted around by Senior with his foot planted.

Hope he comes back ok from this injury. No wonder really that KR were put to the sword after this.

Was a nasty injury and one which will take some recovering from. Hope the operation goes well and he is on the road to recovery soon.

I had a compound fracture to my femur, but I can guarantee his hurt more.

Horrible indeed. At first I thought it was his shin pad pushing through his sock. What a brave o though, he just lay down, awaited the help and even gave the leeds fans a dose of the clap. Tough man indeed. hankfully he didnt do what Big Kev Ward did, and grab hold of his leg and try and put back in place, ugh that was sickenign to watch .

Get well soon Chev, would be a shame to see a player so young never play the game again due to the injury.

As has been said, he's a brave lad and I wish him well in his recovery.

Chev was lucky he had good medical team who was there straight away giving him best care possible.

Last year year the team I play for was playing a Blackpool team at our place. 1 of there props had same type of break with bone coming threw the skin. He was in pure agony and waited about 30 mins before the ambulance arrived.

We moved onto next pitch as he lay in middle of the pitch waiting for ambulance to arrive.

I'm hope and pretty sure chev will be back in action for start of next year.

Reminded me of Eduardo's injury playing for Arsenal a few years ago - very nasty and it could mean Chev won't be seen on a rugby pitch for well over 12 months.

Hopefully a speedy recovery is coming his way.

I didn't see the game, but i've seen the images and then the video later today, horrific injury. Lets just hope he recovers asap.

Puts everthing into perspective. Might call the fecker fit to burn. But no one who plays deserves an injury like that. One tough hombre. Respect.

It was a very nasty injury indeed, and no dis-respect to Walker but personally I think it will end his career which is a very sad thing indeed. I hope i'm wrong but somehow I don't think I will be.

Agreed. It was shocking to watch. I hope he makes a full recover.

Very bad to see, but no moaning from him, lay down and waited for the stretcher and even gave the crowd a little clap - tough guy.

How old is he - about 27? Reckon it could be 2 years before he's fit again, but would expect to see him back rather than retiring.
