Lomax moved from fullback to scrumhalf,hope Wheeler went well and plays in the centres next week.

I wasn't taking away from salford performance, just stating that our reserves would have had alot of late team changes.

I thought wheeler was out injured.

Can't work out potter not playing wheeler either centre or stand off.

After all wheeler is a stand off and eastmond who played 6 is a scrum half.

me too, a recognised, if inexperienced 6 who has been good in the first teams games he has been in. If he's fit then why not play him when we knew pryce was out, or at least at centre?

Wheeler i understand has had a groin injury, so it may be that he is ok to play in slow paced reserve games, but they dont want to push it by playing him in the much more intense SL games.

Fair play then. If he's playing in the reserves he should be ready for the first team again in a couple of weeks.

TBH Wheeler did look a little rusty was limping a bit near the end but only to be expected. Cooper got his first try for two years - wasn't pleased when they announced Lucas had scored instead. Don't take anything away from Salford tho. They went ahead early on and it is always a tough, quick game at the Willows.

Wheeler seemed to be struggling for last 10, Lomax looked very good along with Armstrong. Good game to watch and Salford played well
