Whether Jones was a genuine talent or not, he was of the view that his chances to break through in the first team were low and I would agree with him. We are too busy signing old players, retaining old players, retaining foreign players, to provide much in the way of opportunity for our young players, particularly with the changes coming up in 2013.

So I don't think a player leaving automatically means that player wasn't good enough for Saints.

Did Greenwood and swift not make debut in 2012 gaskell and foster didnt play much for us in 2012 but both still at the club and these two will prob start every week next season

Not Greenwood, no. He made his debut last season. Swift, yes. I'd forgotten about him. But he only played a couple of games didn't he?

About 4, i think. Scored two hattricks, one in the cup, but both against widnes and then scored in the Hull away fixture. IIRC of course.
