Quote ="Saddened!"If you read it properly you will realise it wasn't. Are you suggesting he didn't kick the ball out on the full in his own half after kicking the 40:20 or that he didn't concede a couple of penalties through his niggling and not standing square at the play the ball?
Most of my post was criticism of Wigan's discipline, for that you can check the game stats, and praise for Sean O'Loughlin.'"
Your pointing 1 of the only couple of mistakes that he made, Sam is a very talented young player and will continue to make mistakes but over the future years he is going to have with Wigan I have every faith in him that he will be winning more games for us than making errors such as the one you pointed out.
And by no way am I saying he is our saviour as many of you claim that we are saying about him, but he is one of our own Wigan products along with McIlorum, Ainscough etc... who we do need to start building a team around.
You are correct though as regarding Locky, he has played out of his skin this season and Sunday's game was a true reflection of how well he has played in the majorit of our games even if we have lost. Hopefully he will stay injury free. People forget still that Locky is still pretty young and is nowhere near at the peak of his game yet. As said, we need to build a consistent team based round our own youth and not see many changes each year like your team has managed to have done. If we can do this, then we will start to see how well developed the likes of Sam Tomkins etc... have a possible impact on our future team.
