| With Plume gone from the 1st Team set up & Morley quitting his Acadamy role anyone heard anything about the gaps getting filled or a possible re-structure?
I know Burrow us joining the Acadamy set up but is he going straight unto the u19 role?
I also read somewhere pre-top 4 play offs the Club were impressed with Chev Walkers Coaching work with the Foundation byt not seen anything confirmed about a more permanent role within the Acadamy or 1st Team.
I would like to see at least a couple of fresh faces around the 1st Team & Acadamy structure.

I thought Burrow was under 19's and all academy with coaches in place under him for both 19's and 16's. I also thought they had announced Walker as new assistant to first team?

All i've seen wrt both are that RB joins the Acadamy & that Walker had impressed with the Foundation mate not seen any "Official" announcement or details of their future roles.

| Would love to see Rob doing some stuff with all the young HBs at Leeds too. Maybe that's something Danny McGuire might consider doing once he's retired?

| Some bits from the YEP when it was announced....
'Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain legend Adrian Morley will embark on a new challenge in 2018 after completing his one-year contract with the Rhinos coaching staff.
Morley, 40, returned to his first club this season to work in the club’s youth development team and with the first-team squad. However, he has opted to leave the club to take up a career opportunity in construction recruitment with Frameworks Recruitment.
GH - “We have already announced that Rob Burrow will be joining our youth development team for next season and in terms of the first team, Chev Walker will have more of an involvement.
“Chev has impressed Brian McDermott since his return to the club last summer with his work on talent identification and in the community and has been working with the first-team squad for a number of weeks.”

Glad to see chev back in the fold, always wonders just how good he could have been if he had not wasted two peak years in the dark side, plus his short spell guesting for the Norman Stanley fletcher XIII Select.

I’m going by this because I believe that New York will target Mcdermott to be their coach. McDermott would be better placed due to being the USA head coach and would be able to develop his own talent in that position.

| Interesting call that. With Toronto starting to get established SL players like Westerman and Sims then may only be a matter of time before we see a SL coach go to North America whether it's McDermott or someone else.
Tony Smith might be a good shout. Says he's bored with RL in this country right now and it's needs freshening up in the way that it's promoted and he would need a job that excites him to return to. Could be down his street then ATM, definitely would contact him if I were in New York's shoes to see if he'd be interested.

I think they did, Warrington wasn't it? when I posted what a good job he was doing and should tie him down, someone definitely said he was off. Can't remember thread.

| It was me Gotcha that said he was off to wire after a conversation I had with his dad . Seems there may be a twist in the tale with this story. He’s been offered a deal but as yet hasn’t signed it . Seems he’s not happy about the chances of development as a coach . Feels it’s being blocked by certain parties . His dad was a bit upset about it all when I spoke to him today . Not a forgone conclusion that he’s staying this one !!

He is their new head of rugby? Wasnt that Tony Smith's title? Pretty big step up if so and good luck to him tbf
Reguarding coaching (assuming Mac intends on staying for at least a few years), getting Toovey would be great as Manly were brilliant when he was their assistant, if we cant get him I wouldnt mind getting Poaching back
