I'd agree with this, I find our press conferences hard to watch - the last 2 IIRC were Parcell & Segeyaro and both times the reporters asked questions of the players and the players clearly find it hard to respond without stretching the truth. McDermott clearly doesn't like sitting in front of reporters but I can't fault him for that.

I'm hopeful for this season however I'm not convinced we can get above 7th/8th - fingers crossed Parcell will make a considerable difference to the fluency of our attack.

Well he is right on that. Doesn't make it good enough, or acceptable, but he is still right.

So what is happening to Sutcliffe if he going to start with the two oldest half backs in world RL?

Let me repeat that Tad. That isn't my choice at all, not what I want, which is why I said doesnt' make it acceptable or good enough. But he is very right to say those are the strongest players we currently have for those positions.

I still say Lilley is a better bet than Burrow at SH.
Problem we have is that McGuire, Burrow and Lilley in whatever combination in the halves mean our centres do alot more tackling.

I imagine it's just a case that Burrow has had zero minutes so far and Sutcliffe has played twice in preseason. Burrow needs game time, Sutcliffe is still on the bench and I'm sure will get decent time as can't see Parcell doing too much having only just arrived.
