| Thoughts on the results?
Tomorrow’s game as much as I’d like Wake to win I can’t see it but you never know on the day.
Tonight’s game is going to be interesting.
Tough one to call, but I think FC will get the better of them.
Wigan have a few injuries and no doubt if they do lose that’ll be the first thing Ogre moans about.
Good luck to both Hull FC & Wakefield from me!

Yeah, BBC2 I think.
Reckon Hull will sneak it tonight and Warrington will win tomorrow but Wakefield wont make it easy for them.

| I'd like to see a Wakey/Hull final and make it an all Yorkshire affair for the third year running. I think that's unlikely though. Hull might make it through, but Warrington will want to make up for their loss in last year's semi and will have too much for Wakey, I fear.

| Hoping for two good games on the Beeb. Think tonights should be close for sure, Wakey could be blown out if Wire are running hot but hopefully they can put up a good fight.
Wire v Hull final would be close, and something different so i'm going for that.

| If Hull do get there, I hope they are made to watch the tape of their last Wembley final, and are told not to do that again. Worst final I've ever seen.
Same thing for Wigan.

| If Wigan win tonight then I would prefer Wire to win
The new Wembley needs a good final, not another one sided game

| Wouldn't be surprised to see tonight's game won by a Smith or Sneyd drop goal. As poor as Wigan have been the last 2 weeks in attack, their defence has only conceded 3 tries both games and the last one against Saints was one of those throwaway ones that can happen in the last 60 secs when the game has already gone. The biggest test of this Hull's side potential though tonight and especially Sneyd, this is the type of game where he needs to step up if he's going to be considered one of the best HB in the country at the moment.
Warrington have played very poor in 3 consecutive CC semi finals, twice as strong favourites (over Hull in '13 & HKR '15) so I suppose the potential is there but surely they are due a good showing at this stage again.

| Can't see warrington making any mistakes on saturday. The last 3 years they've lost semi's when they've been favourites, more so last year against KR.
Tonight is very difficult to call. Whoever loses tonight stands a good chance of finishing top if we assume warrington win. A CC final will cause difficulty in the heat of the super 8's, especially when every game will be crucial. We survived it last year because we had built up such a good cushion.
I think Hull will do em. But for some reason I think hull's season will collapse all at once. I think they're gonna lose the CC final to warrington, then lose spot, then fail to make the GF.

| Great effort from both teams - congrats to Hull.
If Hull win at Wembley, I wonder if Pearson will splash out and pay for Radford to See a dentist.
Likeable guy but he looks a b*gger with that gap.
Wilkin has just said Wigan looked toothless !

| Hull deserving winners but it was pretty close, I'd say Wigan actually defended better. Hull were conservative a bit first half and then came out with a 'nothing to lose' attitude 2nd and it got them a couple of tries. After the Fonua injury and delay though they went back into their shell slightly and it didn't help them. Wigan in attack though.....apart from Williams there just isn't anything really. Granted your HB should be the main focal point but they can't expect him to do it all by himself

| Great win for Hull.
Most satisfying thing for me is that the ape can't win the treble.
Come on Wakey! make it an all Yorkshire final.

He is becoming a great player in the opposition 20, unfortunately for Wigan he is anonymous in the other 80
Also, it took a few months but Im back to hating Sam Tomkins again, ridiculously self-aggrandising piece before kickoff, and was constantly praised throughout the game for anything he did half decent, but everyone failed to mention everything he did wrong in what was a below average game
Have I time travelled to 2013?

| Tomkins is sh-te. Hardaker is 10 times better. Hardaker could retire now and Tomkins would never finish with the honours Zak has.
I love saying this all the time.

| Most of the Pie fans on the Wigan board demanding the Apes head on a plate. CC semi and touching distance of top spot is not good enough for them it seems. wonder what the reaction would have been to bottom of the table with a few games to go and middle 8s rugby?

| Particularly enjoyed the Talanoa try. They tried to rule it out every which way. Then they went to Billy Boston's mobile phone in the crowd and it showed that Talanoa was a mile onside.

If they finish a third season in a row trophyless then I think it's a fair view to question Wane's future.

I could understand that view if they had a load of star studded buys but to be fair to Wane, he has overseen the loss of pretty much all his big names since he took charge. He has given youth a chance and plenty of them too, he has had to, to cover the loss of the big names. Basically he has a load of youth plus journey men type buys like Tauitai and Isa to work with plus the usual stalwarts of SOL, MM (when fit) and Tomkins, who is not quite the player he was. All this whilst winning the double in 2013, and making the final the last two years as well (and they would have won 2014 imo if it wasn't for Flower being a tool).
For me, and i'm certainly not a big fan of the man as a person, but Wane has done remarkably well to keep Wigan competing on all fronts ever since he took charge and i doubt there are too many coaches out there could have done the same with the players he has had to work with.
