Yeah but Leeds is big city with a population of xxxxx million people so leeds should actually get average attendances of xxxx thousand and relatively speaking they are worst supported in super league, yadda yadda yadda blah blah.

Yea but surely it is better to judge average attendance when everyone has played everyone once at home
Even if we were both in the top 8, you could get Saints and Wire at home and we could get Catatlan and Widnes, which would throw out the average attendance anyway
With one game left at home you can still beat us if you manage around 50,000 vs saints

I'm not entirely sure "most people in the ground at home games" always equates to "best supported" team. Although this season I think you guys who rock up every week, or nearly every week, deserve a medal. I can't even be ar$ed watching all the televised Leeds games.

Doesn't help in determining "best supported" that clubs get to count season ticket holders in their figures whether they turn up or not.

So if every single Leeds season ticket holder boycotted the next home game, the attendance would still show them as having been there.

That's a bit silly though isn't it. Those tickets have been sold. There's nothing wrong with counting them.

If they're that desperate people are boycotting games then they surely won't buy a season ticket next season. And so the reduction will be counted then.

I've just read that all the Carnegie Terrace season tickets have been sold except for renewals.
I do hope that does not mean the band is going to relocate there.
