| Just keeps getting better and better!
Followed up strong performances most of the year & a decent shift in the cup final by one of his best showings in a Leeds shirt last night (admittedly against awful opposition). Carried strongly, broke tackles and did his usual work in defence.
Hats off to the big man - easily in our top 3 props at the moment

| Should also add JP was immense again. Promoted the ball seemingly at will-if there's a record for number of offloads in a game he must have come close to breaking it

Boooo hiss
Take your negativity somewhere else-embrace the improvement!
In all seriousness I wonder if his lifestyle, diet & fitness work which a couple of player mentioned during the Wembley build up contributes to him maintaining decent form & still looking fairly fresh at this stage of the season

| My mate turned to me last night and said "has someone bought Kirke a full-length mirror because he's suddenly realised how big he is... and it's only take 5 years"

| Kirke was excellent last night and has indeed been much improved this year.
Interestingly, I had a rumour last night that Amor is coming back and Kirke is headed in the other direction.

I'd be genuinely disappointed were he to leave. Another part of the 4 ring winners leaving at the peak of his powers (which he seems to be) would be a shame.
I would love amor to be a success but will wait to see him in a Leeds jersey doing the business before I hail him as a hero. I remember how "ready" people claimed he was before his debut

| Kirke has been much better this year and doesn't appear to be shirking his work load. But lets not pretend he's anything special. Based upon what I've seen of Amor at Wakefield he'd be an enormous upgrade over kirke at prop.

Agreed. In a straight choice there's no contest. I'd rather keep Kirke and have Amor in addition though, as I think Kirke has provided a useful squad role over the years. I guess it all depends on wages though, if Kirke is cheap he's useful.

| much rather ship Moore or Hauraki to trinity than lose Kirke. Given Tiberius can play SR as well, he gives us extra flexibility which they don't.

| Don`t know what all this negativity is with Moore.
Whenever I have seen him play he has always had a pretty decent game.
Hauraki played well against Salford but then again Salford were poor and I would not be sad to see him go.
Kirke for me is the MIP this year and we should look to retain him next year to see if he kicks on from there.
JJB, Clarkson and to some extent Bailey have not delivered this year.

| Kirke was excellent on Friday, as were JP and Kylie (who are our only realy consistent performers). The rest were either average or poor.
Problem is though two of them are 34, and the other is getting onto 31.
This begs the question of whether we'll have any sort of pack capable of dominating games in the near future.

Personally, I've seen enough.

That may be true and in that case we should have got rid 4 or 5 years ago.
We didn`t as all the coaches we have had at Leeds saw something in him that the supporters me included didn`t see.
However we kept him and now he is doing the business we are looking to get rid to Wakefield if stories are to be believed.
For me his performances this year warrant keeping him which is more than can be said for some of our other forwards.

| Whilst i agree his improvement is clear and welcome for me he should be part of the "cull" to freshen things up.
With Achurch coming in and hopefully Amor returning ,the emergance of Singleton and hopefully Keinhorst/new arrival taking the LC berth i don't see a place for Kirek at all.

| Kirke is under contract for next season at Leeds and in some really good form of late.
It would therefore be a pretty odd call for the Leeds management and coaching staff to unload him at the season end and so on that basis the possibility of him leaving cannot be ruled out.
