| As expected Huddersfield say goodbye to Nathan Brown after yesterday's semi final defeat.
Paul Anderson starting his new role from now as head coach.
Wonder what's the possibility of Nathan Brown taking over at St Helens straight away.
Also rumour has it Danny Brough has handed in a transfer request.

| Inevitable after he revealed this after yesterday's defeat,
It certainly WASN'T MY IDEA to freshen things up, basically, the players weren't happy with how we were attacking. They were desperate to change. Last week we obviously had an issue with effort. There were some underlying issues and one was that the players didn't want to play our attacking structure any more.

| Unfortunate for the giants but I think it's all downhill now. You have an inexperienced new coach and rumored team unrest. also it looks like Danny brough is leaving. Who more times than not wins most of your matches.
Although way the team has played recently even that is beyond him.

| Now opens up the question 'Will he go to Saints right away?'. They've been doing ok under Cunningham and Rush and in with a shout of getting up to 3rd, maybe even 2nd. Do you want to make such big changes so close to the playoffs? Hudds had to, Saints don't. The advantage of bringing him in now is that he and the team will be settled before the start of the 2013 season but could come at the cost of this season which they still could do something given their playoff history. The Saints players seem happy now and Rush & Cunningham taking over after both being at the club so long was a much easier transistion than it will be when Brown comes in whenever that is.
I'd stick with Rush & Cunningham for now, Brown seems like the sort who would want to change things too much too quickly and the playoffs are too close for that.
Also if Paul Anderson can get the mood in the Giants club on the up again (similar to Saints after Simmonds), then we might have to look over are shoulder at them especially considering are extra involvement in the Cup Final.

| Back rowers playing at prop, hookers playing in the back row, a stand off playing LF, it seems to me he's lost the plot a bit. Surprising considering some on here tout him as the bast coach in the league.

| I hope Brown fecks off back to Oz - whenever things don't go his way he has a good old whinge and makes a complete ass of himself.

Thought Wigan might have had interest to complete their required new 2013 half-back pairing.

Wouldn't have thought they would be able to recall him from a season long loan?

| No real surprise given some of his comments in the press about his players and their attitude over the last couple of weeks.
He does seem to be a coach who buckles under pressure. I honestly can't see him thriving at Saints, even though he will have better players available.
If he does take Brough with him, that should set off the first set of warning bells around Langtree Park as it will mean one of Hohaia, Lomax and Gaskell getting reduced game time.

| Brown's choked even earlier than normal.
From what Brown has said, it's clear he's lost the dressing room.
Can't see how his appointment at Saints is going to result in success for either party.

Anything that moves Lance away from the halves is far from warning bell territory!

| Hohaia to hooker, Roby to the 2nd row, Lomax to LF with Gaskell on the bench. Genius.

| If I was a saints fan I would have concerns about browns appointment as coach,
If he is a success he will be back of to oz at the first offer back there, any slump in form and he will resign. Whenever possible I would go with a British coach,
Step forward and take a bow Our coaching team.

| Don't rate Brown to be honest. Massive whinger. He has to be fair transformed Huddersfield from fairly competitive also-rans to, err, fairly competitive also-rans. THey have a really good squad there IMO and I think if Brown had stayed they were starting to look unlikely to make the 8. If Anderson gets them playing again they aren't going to be at Old Trafford, but they can certainly do a lot better than they have been.
I wonder if the Saints hierarchy are looking for ways of reneging on his contract for next season. I would be, I'd rather stick with Rush and Cunningham if I were them.
