| Ablett, Burrow, Hall, Jones-Buchanan, Peacock, Sinfield, Clarkson, Hardaker, Jones-Bishop, Lunt picked for England
McGuire may miss the game with injury and Watkins out with injury. Could be a very youthful team lining up if the england guys are not allowed to double up.

Sack the England coach. Can't believe he's picked so many plyers from a team near the bottom of SL.
If that's the best that england can get we're in serious trouble.

| I don't see Clarkson, Hardaker, Lunt or Jones-Bishop in the latest squad. Good time to bring on the young guns, cue NatwichExcile

| Looking at the England squad i would imagine Hall and Peacock (because he's captain) will definately play and maybe Sinfield at 6 with Burrow on the on the bench. Not sure if JJB or Ablett will get a game. If all the above were ruled out of the Wakey game we could line up something like this -
Webb
Chisholm
Smith
Keinhorst
??? Actually have to make one of Hall or BJB double up.
Ward
McShane (Able to Recall???) (If McGuire not fit)
Leuluai
Hood
Bailey
Delaney
Kirke
Hauraki
Griffin, Moore, Singleton, Briscoe
But like i said i would expect a few of the 10 not to be picked for the games and the younger backs i think would/could double up as well as Burrow as even if he comes off the bench i doubt he'd play much more than 30 mins.

According to Journos, no players allowed to double up, hense the reason of the free weekend for the game. There would be no point calling McShane back for one game, and then to be shafted out of the first team again, leave him where he is.

They're in the Knights squad who play Ireland just before the main match I think.

Not sure that's correct. The free weekend was so that everyone was available and it would be taken seriously.
There would have been no point Leeds arranging the game for Monday night had they not been allowed to double up. It might aswell have been played Sunday.
Yes, I know it is now a Sky Monday night game, but the game was arranged before the Monday night sky fixtures were arranged.

| I don't think the game is on sky. It would be a shocking decision by Leeds if they were unable to double up.

| With no doubling up, and with McGuire potentially being injured i'd go:
Webb
Watson
Smith
Keinhorst
Chisholm
Ward
Olds
Leuluai
Hood
Bailey
Kirke
Hauraki
Singleton
Subs:
D.Smith
Briscoe
Griffin
Moore

| If we can't double up and with Burrow & Lunt selected then the timing of sending McShane to Widnes is awful, we're looking at Hood having to do the full 80 mins. Good job Delaney missed out on the final cut for the Exiles isn't it.

| Don't think doubling up will be an issue. The second game is on Wednesday 4th july with leeds playing hull 48 hours later. Can't see them not allowing players to play in either match

| How on earth does Chase get picked again for the England team.
He has done nothing at all this season apart from breaking some guys jaw.
I see once again the team has been picked on reputation.
Isn`t it time we tried out some fringe players or has McNammara come from the same school as McDermott!!?

| The journos are talking rubbish Frosties... or at least if this is what the RFL have told them, then the are breaking their own operational rules in doing so!
The RFL can insist that they don't pay club football 5 days prior to a rep fixture, but nothing about after!
[iIn the event of a Representative Match being played during the Season a player selected in
the squad for a Representative Match shall not play for his Club within the period Monday to
Friday immediately prior to a Representative Match scheduled for a Saturday; or within the
period Monday to Saturday immediately prior to a Representative Match scheduled for a
Sunday, without the prior written consent of the Board. The Board shall determine, as regards
players selected in the squad for a Representative Match scheduled for a midweek date when
those players can play for their Club. For these and other purposes within these Operational
Rules, an international or other recognised representative squad shall comprise no more than
23 players unless the Board directs otherwise.[/i
So yes, players can double up and I would expect that some of them will. Equally, with the second midweek Exiles fixture the RFL are going to allow clubs to play their players the weekend before, as the above operational rules allows, because to do so would be very unfair!

| Thinking about it, Huddersfield will have to ask the RFL Board for permission to play it's squad players due to play for both squads for their Monday night fixture against Hull KR prior to the Exiles match on the following Saturday. I suspect the RFL board will grant permission... don't you?

| The question is would you want them to double up. The exiles match is going to be a tough match and to play 2 days later against us with a hopefully fully fit squad who have had a rest is a big ask. Plus there is this weeks game against Wolves to worry about and who's to say some players not picked for rep games may get injured. But the same can happen when we play Hull FC this week but we don't have rep games to play in.

| So the guy that cannot get into the Leeds team because of the hopeless "winger", Lee Smith, gets to play representative footie. One of the two respective coaches surely has a case to answer ?
So many Leeds players called up .... Is anyone meant to take the match seriously ??
As for the Leeds team, I suppose it's up to Peacock and Sinfield.. . Kirke for captain it is then.
