I'm sure that the official statement said that his contract at the Rhinos would still be valid should he clear his visa issues,But that the 3 year deal would start from the 2010 season.

Its because the saints fan whose dealing with Eastwoods application has rejected it. it’s the only reason why I can think its been rejected so far. We would have been creaming at the top of the table if he was here this season!

If he gets here then a forwards will have more go forward and watching him in the NRL his defence will help us a lot aswell. Just hope he can get used to our style and set moves quick enough to be involved.

Likes been touched on I don't think its an option that he will come over for our play-offs.Its only ever going to be for pre season after his commitments with the Bulldogs are over.

Its a petty the bulldogs are going to be in the play offs as otherwise then if the appeal goes well I think then he would come over as soon as the Bulldogs season was over.

I also am concerned at his quote of '' Its in my contract I've got to go'' I'd like him to say he wants to go and is looking forward to going.

I'm presuming that any deal to get him over will be done for next season, I can't see him coming over just for the playoffs.

I still cannot see him been here for our end of Season given Bulldogs are going to be in the play offs down under.

It would be great if he did/could come over here for our play offs as he's a big yet mobile unit with a good pair of hands and a good off load game.

Bear in mind that the outcome of the appeal is not cut and dry then what else do you expect him to say. If the appeal fails and he has been quoted as saying "can't wait to p#ss off and leave" he would have hacked off a prospective employer. comments keeping all options open.

it depends who was asking the questions. If it was an interview for the bulldogs website or similar hes hardly going to be telling them he cant wait to get out is he. I suspect if he was being interviewed by the YEP his tone of answer would be much different.

Lets hope that is taken out of context.
