Apparently the Rhinos have made a trio of signings recently who I hear are top notch potential.

Infact one well respected scout described one of the players as having the potential to be one of the best players around.

There names are Smith, Clark, and I think he said Alexander, with the Alexander lad been the top tip.

Smith is from Cas, and which will suprise us all is Russell Smith's son. Of course his dad never wanted him anywhere near Leeds, but as his dad is divorced form mum and living down under he had to kis you Smiths hairy butt.

Have they been signed from our scholarship program?

I don't think Smith is related to Russ Smith.

He is related however to Tony Smith, the 'tasched Cas, Wigan + GB scrum half. I believe it is Tony Smiths brothers lad.

He is a hell of a prosepect. Alot of the scouts are saying he has the best potential they have seen for years.

Well no. Leeds dont seem to put any spin on their academy signings any more like they used to.

Clark plays for East Leeds, and got MOM in the u16 cup final, and is supposed to be a young Jamie Peacock in the making, but with a young Barrie McDermott temperament that needs controlling. Smith is apparently a huge young lad and still growing. Alexander (think that was his name) plays for Headingley I was told but from Harehills, and is very classy stand off.

daniel smith`s dad is russell smith but not the referee he his the older brother of former gb scrum half tony,dont know where daniel smith gets his size from but it aint from his dad,ive also heared that leeds are looking at daniel smiths younger brother cameron who his huge who will be available for a scholorship next year.
