Get you lot! We have various of you telling us we should sack our coach cos we are languishing in 12th, and yet you want to sack yours cos you are "only" in second! I think everyone knows I have a few "issues" with our current coach, but I wouldn't sack him.

We need to improve our performance with regard to ball retention, discipline and defence, but this can be done. We need to utilise the full squad (particularly the 17 available on matchday) to ensure that our forwards in particular are not overworked.

Most of all we need to stop being so emotional once we have crossed the whitewash, and I believe that this is coming from the coach.

McClennan is walking a very fine line for me at the moment. As I said he shouldn't be sacked, but I certainly wouldn't be extending his contract at the moment either...

I don't think we are in the slightest bothered as to who the new Bulls coach will be Adey. After all, bottom three clubs are very small potatoes, and it passes a spare hour on a wet day to post some irritating nonsense on your board.



For me, and I suspect most of the fans, our League position is not as important as our on field performances, which at times have been cracking RL, but have also been a tad lacking for a fair porportion of the matches this season.

The failure to resolve our continuing indiscipline, and one or two substitution calls are raising more than a few eyebrows about Bluey's management skills.

All this of course, will in true Leeds fashion be forgotten if we hump Saints again in the GF.

I think leeds are not playing to potential. Much of it is down to the coach, but he is also not the one holding players down, or ripping the ball out. He is the one who has to stop it though

there is no way that Leeds will fail to reach the GF.You will finish top by at least 4 points with Saints current form/injuries.

Whilst some of the performances have been at times questionable this year you have to remember that we were dealt a big blow when Eastwood had to miss the season due to beaurocracy. We haven't in effect replaced Ellis in anyway yet we continue to be in 2nd place. I'm not sure we will retain the championship however the fact that everytime we have a defeat we seem to call for the coaches head seems far fetched to me. Let's see what happens at the end of next season when we should have Eastwood in the squad and you never know we could have won the fourth championship in a row!!

My opinion on your lot's discipline is this.

Okay, there's absolutely no doubting that you have some fantastic players, world beaters in fact, and have truly deserved to win the title etc. over the years under tony smith.

Now my feelings are since mclennan has come in, it's as if things may have got a bit slack on the discipline side of things, and that a cocky mentality has swept across the players.

I also don't think he's got much of a backbone about him, and can imagine a lot of players aren't interested in what he has to say.

It is because in 2006 he WAS given an under-strength squad to work with. He had NO forwards. But his team wasn't as ill disciplined as this one.

i supported smith till mid 2007. he did a great job but it was time for a change.
as for lack of forwards did smith have a choice in the matter? does bluey now?

the discipline frustrates me as much as anyone and it needs to be sorted.last night it was ok till tiredness set in. the forwards were dominant in the first half but were hammered in the second.they have played most weeks,there is nobody to rotate with.the loss of ellis and scruton is starting to hit home alyhough he could,and should have played worrell somewhere along the line.

for me the game was lost in the first half when we should have been 20 points up at the break
