With Smith likely to be going to Wasps, and Donald and Senior off contract if we can't retain any of them, any ideas of people to bring in? Peter Fox is off contract at the end of the year, and Michael Shenton would be a fantastic signing, but I don't know how long his contract lasts for.

I can't see us getting rid of Donald but i can see Senior retiring come the en of the season. Shenton would be a great signing, and i think he would work well with Donald. But Fox, was at Leeds a few years back, so i doubt we would come back.

It will certainly be interesting i know donald was ready to go home last year before he did a u turn.
As for senior he's already stated he wants to carry on next year,i wouldn't mind but only on a pay as you play deal rather than been a 1st choice and top earner.
I'm sure GH and bluey have/are identifying target's and asessing the current crop.
If we kept senior on he would be good for gibson and watkins imo.

Jodie broughton looked pretty decent pre-season but that would leave us with a very young 3 quarter division.

Peter Fox didn't 1st grade for Leeds before he left.

I read on another forum somwhere, that Leeds are nailed on to sign some 24 year old aussie centre. Never heard of the player and cant remember his name, but people who have seen him play rate him highly

As for the name of the centre, its David Simmons.

Alot depends on Senior as well as how Watkins and Gibson fair. We may even need 2 centres. One thing we should definately do is plan the squad so that we don't need to play 2nd rowers out of position in the centre



Penrith have a v good centre in Jennings. Can't see him been allowed to leave though.

Jennings is a lot better than Simmons, the latter gets caught out a lot when on the wing. Jennings is fast, strong and scores plenty of tries.

Fox alright with ball in hand but can't defend to save his life. Leave him where he is in a second rate team.

I'd be very surprised if we end up with simmon's he sound's average at best.
